The Tunica County Road Department is directed by the Road Manager. The Road Manager is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The County Road System comprises of 300 roads and 59 bridges, including 244 paved roads (271 miles/608.5 lane miles), 30 State Aid paved roads (144.5/316 lane miles), ad 42 unpaved roads (40 miles/80 lane miles).
Primary responsibility is to maintain the county's road system through the following:

Road Side Limb/Debris Pick Up
Solid Waste Program - Rubbish Pick-up: Leaf, Tree Limbs and Non-Household Waste Collection. The Road Department provides pick-up service for disposal of leaves, limbs, and other non-household waste items.
